Dear Parents
Welcome to the new Autumn Term. It is lovely seeing all our children so smartly dressed and settling into their new classes across the school. We welcome Miss Marks, Miss Fowler and Miss Ramsay, who join our teaching team this year. We welcome Miss Robinson, who joins our support staff team, as well as Mrs. Alex and Mrs. Squires, teaching assistants from our supply agency. We are delighted to inform you that at the end of July we were informed that our school has been awarded the Silver School Games Mark Award for our commitment, engagement and delivery of competitive school sport in 2017/18. We are also delighted to inform you that we won a Capital Works Bid for the replacement of the boilers, hot and cold water pipe work and heating system throughout the Lower Building. This very major project will also mean that we will have new ceilings, new lights, and refurbishment in a number of classrooms, and other areas. We thank you for your understanding while the works are being completed, and do see me if you would like further details on any aspect of the project.
